Go Nutty Orange and Coconut Donuts

Serves 6 – 240 Calories Per Serving – 10g fat/39g carbs/3g protein



  • Olive Oil Spray
  • 1/2 Banana
  • 1 T Olive Oil
  • 1 T Orange Zest
  • 3/4 Cup Xylitol
  • 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/3 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1 Tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 3/4 Cup Shredded Coconut
  • 1 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 3/4 Cup Brown Rice Flour
  • 3 T Orange Juice
  • 2 T Almond Cream Cheese



  • Pre-heat oven to 325 and spray donut pan with olive oil spray
  • Mash banana and mix with olive oil, adding in milk and vinegar
  • Add orange zest, 1/2 cup xylitol, half of cinnamon and vanilla, and egg, stirring well
  • Add in 1/2 cup coconut, baking powder, and flour, stirring well, until thick
  • Spoon batter into donut pan and bake for 16 minutes
  • While baking, place rest of xylitol into food processor and blitz until powdered
  • Mix together xylitol, other half of cinnamon and vanilla, cream cheese, orange juice, and rest of coconut
  • Drizzle glaze over top of donuts after they have cooled for five minutes
