What Queso Dreams Are Made Of Dip
Serves 4 – 370 Calories Per Serving – 32g fat/16g carbs/ 9g protein
Ingredients
- 2 Poblano Peppers
- 2 T Red Wine Vinegar
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 2 T Olive Oil
- 2 T Water
- 1 Tsp Pepper
- 1 T Olive Oil
- 1 T Brown Rice Flour
- 1 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
- 1/2 Pack Vegan Cheddar Cheese
- 8oz Vegan Almond Cream Cheese
- Sea Salt As Needed
- Serve with Chickpea Chips
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 450 and place parchment paper on baking sheet
- Place poblano peppers on parchment paper and bake for 20 minutes
- Peel skin off peppers and remove seeds
- Add peppers, vinegar, garlic powder, oil, water, salt, and pepper into a blender and puree
- In an iron skillet, add olive oil over medium heat, whisking in flour to make a roux
- Slowly add in milk, whisking until combined, then add in cheddar, cream cheese, and salt
- Top with poblano sauce
