Back To Basics Black Bean Soup

Serves 4 – 250 Calories Per Serving – 4g fat/40g carbs/13g protein



  • 2 Cans Black Beans
  • 4 Cups Vegetable Stock
  • 1 Sweet Onion
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Yellow Bell Pepper
  • 2 Tsp Cumin
  • 1 Tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 Tsp Pepper
  • 1 Cup Plain Almond Yogurt
  • Sea Salt as Needed



  • In a large pot, add vegetable broth and seasonings and turn heat to medium-high
  • Slice onion and pepper and add to the pot, cooking for 10 minutes, or until tender
  • Add beans and cook for another five minutes
  • Use immersion blender to mix until smooth and serve with yogurt
