Sweet and Tangy Brussel Sprouts
Serves 6 – 180 Calories Per Serving – 5g fat/35g carbs/3g protein
Ingredients
- 2 Bunches Brussel Sprouts
- 2 T Olive Oil
- 1/2 Cup Xylitol
- 1/2 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/2 Cup Dried Cranberries
- Sea Salt as Needed
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 400
- Cut off the brussels knobs and cut in half
- Place in a glass baking dish and drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, baking for twenty minutes
- In a small saucepan, add together balsamic and xylitol and let reduce over medium-low heat and let reduce while the brussels cook
- Pour balsamic over brussels and top with cranberries
