Moroccan Spice Chickpea Soup

Serves 3 – 230 Calories Per Serving – 6g fat/35g carbs/10g protein



  • 1 T Olive Oil
  • 1 Sweet Onion
  • 1 Can Chickpeas
  • 1 Can Diced Tomatoes
  • 4 Cups Vegetable Broth
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tsp Turmeric
  • 1 Tsp Paprika
  • 1 Tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 Tsp Cumin
  • 1 Bunch Kale
  • Sea Salt as Needed



  • In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat
  • Dice onions and add to pot with chickpeas, cooking until tender
  • Add in tomatoes, broth, and seasonings and let simmer for five minutes
  • Dice kale and add to pot, cooking for another five minutes
